Russia resumes arms supplies from North Korea by sea - NK Pro
The Russian cargo ship Lady R has returned to the North Korean port of Rason, which is used to supply weapons from the DPRK to the Russian Federation. This probably signals the resumption of the naval operation after a month-long pause
The South Korean media outlet NK Pro reports.
Satellite images indicate that the ship is carrying containers that may contain weapons for the war against Ukraine. Russian ships involved in the maritime transportation of North Korean ammunition and weapons to Russia have not docked in this port since February 12.
The Lady R ship delivered cargo from North Korea to Russia twice in October 2023 and once in February 2024.
Objects began appearing again at the North Korean pier between March 8 and 9 and more by March 10, indicating that containers were arriving by train from North Korea to be prepared for shipment.
NK Pro's analysis shows that the Lady R picked up containers at Russia's eastern port on February 8 before dropping anchor in waters east of Vladivostok around February 10.
It remained there for weeks, but disappeared from the site between March 7 and 9, shortly before arriving in Rason. Its deck appears to have been full of weapons containers throughout the time it was anchored there.

In early March, an investigation revealed that the supply of weapons by sea from North Korea to Russia had stopped due to delays in production, logistics or other problems.
