Putin is in critical situation, he has no systemic reserves - General Malomuzh
General of the Ukrainian Army, former head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine Mykola Malomuzh said Putin is trying to gather allies who will put pressure on the United States and the EU
He said this on the Espreso TV channel.
“Putin is in a hurry. He needs to gather a pool of allies who will put pressure on the United States. He thinks that if Trump comes to power, he will become his ally and put pressure on individual countries and the EU to sign peace agreements on Russia's terms. Therefore, Putin is setting a goal to seize even more territories in order to have more favorable operational positions on the battlefield for pressure,” Malomuzh emphasized.
According to the Ukrainian army general, Putin is trying to show that the situation will be even worse in the coming weeks.
“He demonstrates this by attacking populated areas, striking at Okhmatdyt children's hospital and other cities. Putin needs to be shown that the shaft of fire will continue. Although I will say frankly, Putin is in a critical situation. Putin has no systemic reserves, he is bluffing. He is on the brink, and his entourage and the military understand this. But Putin wants to show that he has the resources. That he will attack, break through, and demand peace, but on Russia's terms, under pressure from factors. As if he has won and worsened the situation on the battlefield,” Malomuzh said.
