Russia overturns equipment in Belarus and Crimea for an attack on Kyiv - General Staff

This is reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In order to restore combat capability, the leadership of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation made a number of decisions to remove obsolete armored vehicles from storage and send them to military units that restore combat capability. In the territories temporarily occupied by the aggressor, rare cases of seizure of trucks and special agricultural equipment from private entrepreneurs and farmers are recorded.

"According to the information received, the military-political leadership of the Russian Federation decided to adjust plans for conducting further military operations on the territory of Ukraine due to the fact that the goals set before the start of the war with Ukraine were not met within the established time frame," the message says.

The Russian military leadership is bringing weapons and military equipment from the military districts into the territory of Belarus and the temporarily occupied Autonomous Republic of Crimea in order to carry out offensive actions to encircle Kyiv.

The General Staff notes that the Russian military leadership is beginning to realize that the available forces and means are not enough to maintain the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine and conduct defense operations.

In the Volhynia, Polissya, and Siversk directions, the invader is forced to abandon offensive operations, regroup troops and maintain previously occupied lines. Conducts activities to mislead our units and continues reconnaissance.

In the Slobozhansk direction, the invader continues blockading the city of Sumy. In the direction of Kharkiv, it did not carry out active actions. The main efforts were focused on the destruction of the city's civilian infrastructure.

In the Izyum direction, it had no success.  Took a loss. Retreated to the area of ​​the southern part of the city.

In the Donetsk direction, the invader does not refuse to conduct offensive operations, with the ultimate goal of reaching the administrative borders of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions.

In the South Bug direction, the invader is on the defensive, taking measures to restore combat capability, replenish ammunition and fuel in order to prepare for the resumption of offensive operations.
