Russia has only human resources left – Ukraine’s intelligence chief Budanov
According to the head of the Defense Ministry's Main Intelligence Directorate, Kyrylo Budanov, Russia has exhausted its military-industrial complex: it now has only human resources
Budanov said this in an interview with Radio Liberty.
"He (Vladimir Putin - ed.) has no resources. He has no other means except human resources," the intelligence chief emphasized.
He noted that Russia has already exhausted its military-industrial complex and economy, but human resources remain.
"There are human resources. Those who say that they have a lot of dead there: they do not think about it. They have a lot of military material, but this is the only thing they have in sufficient quantities," Budanov summarized.
According to him, the military-industrial complex of the Russian Federation cannot cope with the needs of the war, so it is trying to buy ammunition in North Korea, Iran, Africa, Cuba, etc.
Since the collapse of the Soviet Union, Russia's reserves have not been replenished, but only sold, Budanov said.
"In recent years, Russia has always been the second or third-largest exporting country, and it still has black exports. And everything went to black exports. Even much more than in the white export. They were selling it all. When the war broke out, everyone met it with what they had, six months passed, and they started traveling to Iran to look for places to buy shells," he said.
- Earlier, Kyrylo Budanov said that mobilization on the territory of the Russian Federation does not stop. The Russian authorities are considering drafting 450,000 people to fight in Ukraine.
