"Ukrainian special services plan to kill Zaluzhnyi": Russian fakes for July 12
Ukraine's Center for Countering Disinformation has published a selection of anti-Ukrainian fakes launched by Russian propagandists on July 12
According to the Center for Countering Disinformation at the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, on July 12, Russian media launched disinformation and fake news.
Disinformation: Deputy Representative of the Russian Federation to the UN Polyansky said: "The resolution on Zaporizhzhia NPP adopted by the UN General Assembly is a politicized project."
Refutation: Polyansky's statement about the politicization of the resolution on Zaporizhzhia NPP is disinformation, as it ignores the objectivity of international decisions and is aimed at diverting attention from real threats to the safety of the nuclear facility. The UN General Assembly adopts such resolutions to ensure global security, not for political games.
Fake: Russian Telegram channels are spreading information about the alleged preparation of the assassination of Ukrainian Ambassador to the UK Valeriy Zaluzhnyi by Ukrainian special services.
Refutation: A cynical fake with no evidence, aimed at discrediting the Ukrainian military and political leadership in the eyes of the international community.
