This is reported by the partisan movement "Atesh." According to an agent from the movement within the Russian Armed Forces, military units have received orders to strictly ensure that soldiers adhere to a dry law. Additionally, soldiers have been prohibited from wearing their uniforms outside the military base on February 23 and 24, and ordered to move around settlements only in civilian clothes.
"Apparently, this decision is driven by fear of strikes from Ukraine's Defense Forces and partisan activity," Atesh notes.
Partisans emphasize that Russia may use these days for provocations, intending to blame Ukrainian resistance in case of terrorist attacks and exploit this in their propaganda.
- Russian military exercises in the temporarily occupied Crimea and Donetsk region were a warning sign of their plans for aggression against Ukraine in February 2022.
