Ukrainian forces may withdraw beyond Dnipro line, leave Kharkiv: Russia spreads new fake
Russian propaganda has launched a fake story that the Ukrainian Armed Forces could withdraw beyond the Dnipro line and leave Kharkiv
This is reported by the Center for Strategic Communications.
"The Ukrainian Defense Forces are preparing to conduct a partial withdrawal to new frontiers due to delays in the transfer of American weapons," Russian Telegram channels write.
The Center notes that this is not the first such fake news from Russia. Propaganda has already spread claims that "the Ukrainian Armed Forces are preparing to retreat" and "Russia will not stop until it captures Kharkiv, Odesa, Sumy, and Mykolaiv.”
"Such disinformation increased after the Ukrainian Armed Forces withdrew from Avdiivka to more favorable positions. Russian propaganda tried to present this as a sign of the impending collapse of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. In fact, the situation on all fronts is under control, and there are no real signs of the Russian Armed Forces' readiness to capture any major Ukrainian city," the Center for Strategic Communications reported.
- Russian troops currently do not have the resources needed to invade the Sumy region from the north.
