Russia deports 600 Ukrainians to Rostov region in month
In May, Russian pseudo-ministries have illegally deported 600 residents of the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine to Russia’s Rostov region
The National Resistance Center reported the information.
"According to our underground, from the end of May to the first days of June, another 600 Ukrainians from the temporarily occupied regions were deported to the Rostov region, Russia," the statement reads.This applies to civilians from the cities of Debaltseve, Dokuchaievsk, Donetsk region, and Starobilsk, Luhansk region.
People are reportedly being held in Russian distribution camps before deportation.
Then the occupation administration orders the so-called “Ministry of Transport” to provide buses. The "Ministry of Health" is also supposed to provide medical support. And finally, the "main department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation" provides transportation and escort of Ukrainians.
"Each of the employees of these structures is identified and will be punished for crimes against humanity," the ministry emphasized.

On April 27, 2023, Putin signed a decree providing for the deportation of residents from the Ukrainian territories occupied by Russia. The document states that Ukrainian citizens who live in the occupied parts of Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, Luhansk, and Donetsk regions and have decided to retain Ukrainian citizenship can live in these territories until July 1, 2024. After that, they may be deported.

On June 15, the National Resistance Center reported that in the temporarily occupied Kyrylivka, Zaporizhzhia region, Russian forces threatened to forcibly evict residents who did not get Russian passports within a week.
