Residents of temporarily occupied Ukrainian territories face goods deficit
The socio-political and socio-economic situation in the temporarily occupied eastern Ukraine is still seen as a crisis
This is reported by the National Resistance Center.
Since the invading Russian forces are continuously attacking the majority of the population centers under their control, security is the primary issue facing all occupied territories. The Novotroitsk district had the worst conditions on record.
A high rate of unemployment, a lack of medications, and a general lack of access to primary medical care are also present in all of the occupied territories.
Furthermore, there are ongoing disruptions in the natural gas and electrical supply.
“There is also a lack of a sufficient number of professional personnel in the branches of the occupation administration, due to the low level of collaboration among the local population,” the Center notes.
Because the invading Russian forces have no intention of stabilizing the situation in the occupied zone, Russia has no opportunity to lower the degree of socioeconomic stress.
