Queen Letizia of Spain wears embroidered shirt from Ukrainian brand

The Royal Fashion Police's Instagram account shared the information.

On July 10, Queen Letizia of Spain met with the BVA Microfinance Foundation, a representation of the SM Group and winners of the SM Awards for Children's and Youth Literature at the Zarzuela Palace. The 45th El Barco de Vapor and Gran Angular literary awards ceremony was held there.

During the event, the queen adorned an Obriy Red embroidered shirt from the Ukrainian brand Etnodim. The price of this traditional embroidered shirt is 5200 UAH (USD 143).

The award ceremony at the Zarzuela Palace was attended by SM Group President José Manuel Cidad, who oversees both awards, and SM Foundation Director Maria Teresa Ortiz. The SM Prize is the main award for children's and young adult literature in Spain. It recognizes works that address important values for young people. 

This is not the first time that Queen Letizia has worn an embroidered shirt to express support for Ukraine. In March 2022, she appeared in an embroidered shirt at a presentation of social projects by the Mutua Madrileña Foundation.
