This is reported by Bloomberg with reference to an interview with the President of Indonesia, Joko Widodo.
"Xi Jinping will come. President Putin also told me that he will come," Widodo said.
The publication reports that the presence of Xi Jinping and Putin at the meeting would lead to a confrontation with US President Joe Biden and other democratic leaders, who intend to meet in person for the first time since Russia's invasion of Ukraine. The attack, which came shortly after Putin and Xi Jinping announced a "boundless" partnership, left the G-20 divided over whether to impose sanctions on Russia.
