Putin prepares "celebration" with paid actors for invasion anniversary

Putin plans to "celebrate" the invasion of Ukraine with a concert in Moscow, where he is to deliver a speech.

It is noted that authorities are paying people to attend, offering 500 rubles per several hours. They are promising food and "brand clothes" to students to attend the concert as well. 

In September 2022, a similar rally took place at the Luzhniki Stadium, but then they offered 1.5 thousand rubles to attend. 

• On November 21, the NATO Parliamentary Assembly recognized Russia as a terrorist state and called for the creation of a special international tribunal to punish Russian criminals.

• On October 13, PACE recognized the Russian regime as terrorist. Delegates of 46 countries appealed to the member states of the European Council to speed up the creation of an international tribunal after Russia was expelled.

• On January 4, The Hague supported plans to create a special tribunal for Russia there.
