PACE recognizes Russian regime as terrorist
The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) has adopted a resolution in which it has recognized the Russian regime as a terrorist.
Oleksii Honcharenko, a member of the Ukrainian delegation, reported this.
"It is noted that the Russian regime is terrorist. This is a powerful signal on a global scale, and this is another step to recognize Russia as a sponsor of terrorism," he emphasized.
In addition, according to Honcharenko, for the first time in history, the Council of Europe stated that Ukraine needs to be given weapons, in particular air defense systems to protect the civilian population.
Among the other most important steps of the resolution is the creation of an international tribunal for Russia as soon as possible. It is also noted that the presence of the Russian Federation in the UN Security Council is illegal, "there is no legal reason why they are there."
It is known that 99 delegates voted "for" the adoption of the resolution. One refrained.
