Russia uses chemical munitions against Ukraine's army 444 times in April - General Staff
In April, the invading Russian forces used ammunition containing hazardous chemicals 444 times against Ukrainian soldiers at the front. In total, 1,891 such cases have been recorded since the beginning of the full-scale war
The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff reported this.
"Over the past month, the mobile groups of the support forces and other units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces recorded 444 cases of enemy use of ammunition containing hazardous chemicals, which is 71 cases more than in the previous period," the statement says.
The Russians use drones mainly with K-51 drops to deliver chemical munitions.
Since February 24, 2022, the Russian Federation has used ammunition equipped with hazardous chemicals against the Ukrainian Armed Forces 1,891 times.
"Russia continues to use munitions containing hazardous chemicals, which violates the Convention on the Prohibition of the Development, Production, Stockpiling, and Use of Chemical Weapons and on Their Destruction, as well as the laws and customs of warfare," the General Staff emphasizes.
