3 out of 10 Russian soldiers survive attacks in Kupyansk - Ukraine's Achilles battalion
Yurii Fedorenko, commander of the Achilles UAV battalion of Ukraine’s 92nd Brigade, reported that 95% of Russian equipment is being destroyed by the Ukrainian Defense Forces
He stated this on Espreso TV.
"There is an area where the Russian army managed to reach the left bank of the Kupyansk district a few weeks ago – the village of Kruhliakivka. What does the situation look like? Russian forces have no proper engineering or fortifications, and no reliable shelters. They’re scattered in basements and temporary shelters, suffering losses while trying to bring in more personnel," Fedorenko explained.
The commander said that Russian troops are trying to push toward Kolesnykivka, but they’ve been stopped and suffered losses. Russian soldiers attempted an attack on Kupyansk, but they were detected and destroyed. Their equipment was burned, and their assault troops were wiped out. As of November 26, there is no Russian presence in Kupyansk-Vuzlovyi.
“Anything that gets within range of our guns, anti-tank weapons, or UAVs gets destroyed. 95% of Russia’s equipment is being wiped out, and as a result, the enemy has to rely more on manpower,” said Fedorenko.
The commander also added that in some areas, Russian forces are moving through the woods, up to 12 kilometers from their starting point to the front line.
“Out of 10 Russian soldiers who start this march, only 3 make it to the front line. The rest either fall out of the march or are taken out by Ukraine’s Defense Forces. The ones who get close to the front also face heavy fire from us. As a result, most of the Russian soldiers are killed,” Fedorenko emphasized.
- On November 21, Andrii Besedin, head of the Kupyansk City Military Administration, said that in the Kupyansk direction, Russian forces had managed to approach the Oskil River and establish positions there.
