UK unveils largest sanctions package against Russian shadow fleet
The UK has announced its largest sanctions package targeting Russia's shadow oil fleet, imposing restrictions on 30 vessels

This was announced by the UK government and Foreign Secretary David Lammy, Voice of America reports.
Lammy stated that Britain was introducing its largest package of sanctions against Russia's shadow fleet, targeting 30 vessels.
The sanctions will affect 30 ships of the Russian shadow fleet responsible for the transportation of oil and oil products.
“With half of the ships targeted today transporting more than $4.3bn worth of oil and oil products like gasoline in the last year alone, today is the largest UK package of its kind,” the government said in a statement.
- On November 19, the UK government announced new sanctions against ten Russian individuals and legal entities involved in the illegal deportation of Ukrainian children.
