White House National Security Communications Advisor John Kirby stated this, according to Business Insider reporter Jake Epstein.
"They (Ukrainians - ed.) are able to use ATACMS to defend themselves on an immediate-need basis and right now, understandably, that's taken place in and around Kursk. We did change the guidance and gave them guidance that they can use them (ATACMS - ed.) to strike these particular types of targets,” he said.
On the night of November 25, the Khalino airfield in the Kursk region was attacked. The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff confirmed the involvement of the Defense Forces in the attacks.
