191 сlashes on frontlines in one day: Russia keeps hammering Ukrainian positions

On November 25, at least 191 clashes erupted on the frontlines. Russian forces are focusing their attacks on the Pokrovsk direction

The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported the information as of 08:00.

"The situation on the front remains tough. With an edge in manpower and equipment, Russian forces are relentlessly attacking our positions. Ukrainian defenders are holding the line, pushing back the invaders, and dealing maximum damage to the enemy," the statement reads.

In total, 191 clashes were reported over the past 24 hours.

Yesterday, Russian forces launched five missile strikes on Ukrainian positions and settlements, firing seven missiles. They also carried out 65 airstrikes and dropped 96 guided aerial bombs. On top of this, over 4,450 attacks were reported using various artillery systems, including 112 from multiple launch rocket systems. Around 1,500 kamikaze drones were also deployed for destruction.

Russian airstrikes targeted 23 settlements across Ukraine.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian missile and artillery units struck key targets, including concentrations of Russian troops, five control points, and another critical facility.

Main frontline updates

Kharkiv direction: Russian forces launched five assaults near Vovchansk, Kudiivka, and Kozacha Lopan but failed to advance. Heavy use of bomber and assault aircraft was recorded.

Kupyansk direction: 23 attacks were reported in a day. Ukrainian forces repelled assaults near Novomlynsk, Kolisnykivka, Zahryzove, Synkivka, Lozova, Kruhlyakivka, and Zelenyi Hai.

Lyman direction: Russian forces attacked 11 times, attempting to breach defenses near Hrekivka, Novoyehorivka, Yampolivka, and Torske.

Kramatorsk direction: Four assaults were launched near Chasiv Yar and Stupochky.

Toretsk direction: Six Russian attacks targeted Toretsk, Dachne, and Shcherbynivka. One battle in the area is ongoing.

Pokrovsk direction: Ukrainian defenders stopped 51 Russian offensives near Myrolyubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Hryhorivka, Petrivka, Dachenske, Pushkine, and Pustynka.

Kurakhove direction: 46 Russian attacks were repelled, with heavy fighting near Sontsivka, Berestky, Zori, Novodmytrivka, Dalne, Kurakhove, Uspenivka, Yelyzavetivka, and Hannivka.

Vremivka direction: 13 assaults were carried out near Rivnopil, Novodarivka, Konstantynopolske, and Sukhi Yaly.

Orikhiv direction: Two attacks targeted positions near Novoandriivka.

Kherson direction: Three Russian attempts to displace Ukrainian units failed.

No signs of Russian offensive groups forming along the Belarusian border have been observed. 

Along the Chernihiv and Sumy borders, Russian forces continue artillery and airstrikes from within their territory, targeting Ukrainian settlements.

  • On November 24, the Russian army reportedly lost 1,610 soldiers, 27 armored vehicles, 6 tanks, and 22 artillery systems in Ukraine.
