Papuashvili emphasized that it is important that the presidential election and inauguration take place in 2024. He also added that the parliament aims to set the date on Tuesday, November 26.
“As for the presidential election, tomorrow the parliament will set the date of the presidential election. There are certain circumstances that are important to consider. We have to elect a president for a 5-year term. Accordingly, for the president to be elected for 5 years, it is important that the election and inauguration take place this year. Accordingly, tomorrow we will set this date,” said the speaker of the Georgian parliament.
