Ukraine's FM Sybiha visits Italy for G7 to discuss strengthening EU support for Ukraine
On behalf of the Ukrainian President, Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha will visit Italy to participate in the Group of Seven ministerial meeting scheduled for November 25-26
The press service of Ukraine’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported the information.
On November 25, the Foreign Minister will hold a series of bilateral talks with his Italian counterpart Antonio Tajani, EU diplomat Josep Borrell and foreign ministers of the Global South.
The very next day, November 26, Sybiha is scheduled to participate in a special session of the G7 ministerial meeting dedicated to Ukraine, as well as a series of bilateral talks with U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken, French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot, Canadian Foreign Minister Melanie Joly, and German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock.
The press service of the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs added that the key topic of the talks will be strengthening support for Ukraine amid Russia's recent aggressive steps, including the involvement of North Korean troops in the aggression, attack on Ukraine with a medium-range ballistic missile, and air terror against civilians, critical infrastructure, and the energy system.
