Radio Svoboda reported the information, citing Delfi.
According to the Coordination Department of the Fire Safety and Rescue Service, rescuers freed one of the pilots from the plane, who regained consciousness. Two injured crew members were taken to the hospital, while one person was confirmed dead.
Rescuers reported no injuries among the building’s residents. Seven fire trucks and airport fire services are working at the scene.

Earlier, the Wall Street Journal, citing Western intelligence sources, reported that two unexplained explosions took place in July at DHL logistics centers in Leipzig and Birmingham. European and U.S. intelligence officials believe Russia is behind a plan that would ultimately place incendiary devices on planes to North America through air cargo shipments.
- Officials report that two devices that ignited in Europe were linked to a secret operation aimed at placing them on cargo or passenger planes.
