Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported this.
"Last night, Russia carried out a massive drone attack, launching 188 drones at our people. I’m thankful to our air defense forces for shooting down about 80 drones, and more than 90 were lost locally. Sadly, there was damage to our critical infrastructure," he said.
Zelenskyy pointed out that each of the drones contained 85 foreign components, totaling nearly 16,000 parts. He stressed that these attacks are only possible because Russia is finding ways to bypass sanctions.
“We are grateful to everyone who helps block these supplies, but we need to do more to make the sanctions work. We must work together to force Russia to end this war,” the president added.
- On the night of Tuesday, November 26, Russian authorities claimed to have repelled a drone attack, including one targeting the Rostov region.
