U.S. intelligence predicts whether Russia’s war on Ukraine to end soon
The United States believes that the end of Russia's war against Ukraine is unlikely in the near future, and Putin's aggressive tactics will continue
This was stated by Director of National Intelligence of the United States Avril Haines, Sky News reports.
She emphasized that Russian dictator Vladimir Putin's more aggressive tactics, including strikes on energy infrastructure, are designed to convince Ukraine that further resistance will only lead to greater losses.
"Putin's increasingly aggressive tactics against Ukraine, such as strikes on Ukraine's electricity infrastructure, are intended to impress Ukraine that continuing to fight will only increase the damage to Ukraine and offer no plausible path to victory," she said.
"These aggressive tactics are likely to continue and the war is unlikely to end anytime soon."
