The President's Office reported.

Zelenskyy thanked the British government for the largest defense support package of half a billion pounds announced last week.

"The provision of this package, along with the crucial decision of the United States to provide assistance, is of great importance to us at this key moment," the president said.

He also briefed the head of British diplomacy on the situation at the front and emphasized that it is important that the weapons provided for in the support package arrive as soon as possible. First of all, armored vehicles, ammunition and missiles of various types.

"We will provide three billion pounds every year for as long as necessary. We have just exhausted everything we could in terms of providing equipment. Some of that equipment is actually arriving in Ukraine today while I'm here," Cameron told Reuters during a visit to Kyiv, adding that the aid package was the largest from the UK so far.

Special attention was paid to preparations for important international events that will take place soon: the G7 summit in Italy, the inaugural Peace Summit in Switzerland, the NATO summit in Washington, and the fourth summit of the European Political Community in the UK.
