Zelenskyy meets with British Foreign Secretary Cameron in Kyiv: details of unannounced visit

The President's Office reported.
Zelenskyy thanked the British government for the largest defense support package of half a billion pounds announced last week.
"The provision of this package, along with the crucial decision of the United States to provide assistance, is of great importance to us at this key moment," the president said.
He also briefed the head of British diplomacy on the situation at the front and emphasized that it is important that the weapons provided for in the support package arrive as soon as possible. First of all, armored vehicles, ammunition and missiles of various types.
"We will provide three billion pounds every year for as long as necessary. We have just exhausted everything we could in terms of providing equipment. Some of that equipment is actually arriving in Ukraine today while I'm here," Cameron told Reuters during a visit to Kyiv, adding that the aid package was the largest from the UK so far.
Special attention was paid to preparations for important international events that will take place soon: the G7 summit in Italy, the inaugural Peace Summit in Switzerland, the NATO summit in Washington, and the fourth summit of the European Political Community in the UK.
Meeting with FM Kuleba
Ukraine's Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba met with British Foreign Secretary David Cameron in Kyiv.
"The ministers focused on the issue of accelerating military assistance to Ukraine, in particular, air defense systems. They also exchanged views on joint preparations for upcoming international events. The parties also discussed the next steps that will allow the use of frozen Russian assets for the benefit of Ukraine," the Foreign Ministry's press service said.
Dmytro Kuleba expressed his gratitude to the UK for supporting Ukraine.
