NATO Parliamentary Assembly recognizes Russia as terrorist state
On Monday, November 21, the NATO Parliamentary Assembly recognized Russia as a terrorist state and called for the creation of a special international tribunal to punish Russian criminals
This was reported by the Ukrainian MP from "Servant of the People", the Head of the Permanent Delegation of Ukraine to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, Yehor Chernev.
"All 30 NATO countries supported the proposals of our delegation. Such a tribunal will make it possible to convict not only the direct perpetrators of war crimes, but also the top leadership of the Russian Federation," Chernev said.
In addition, the NATO resolution contains the following points:
- increasing the arms supplies to Ukraine;
- development of steps regarding Ukraine's accession to the Alliance;
- creation of a mechanism for collecting reparations from the Russian Federation for damages caused to Ukraine;
- confirmation of the decision that NATO will support Ukraine as long as necessary.
