Putin is the only threat to Russia - political scientist Tsibulko
Political scientist Volodymyr Tsibulko believes that the only threat Russia faces is Putin and his regime.
He expressed this opinion with Espreso.
"Modern researchers of authoritarianism note the constant switching from external to internal threats. Authoritarianism always, having started external aggression, sooner or later switches to internal aggression. This happens because it is not possible to achieve a result in the external arena. Besides, in Russia, the protest movement is very silenced and it is not possible to prove one's displeasure to the authorities using a political method," Tsibulko explained.
The political scientist emphasized that the Russian government is the biggest threat to Russia.
"When Ryabkov scares Ukraine with nuclear weapons, let him think about what is really a threat to Russia. It is not an external threat that is terrible for Russia. In a year, fires in Russia burned a territory equal to the territory of Ukraine. The Russian authorities simply don't care. "More than 50% of the population of Russia lives below the poverty line. These are simply the poor. Therefore, the biggest threat to Russia is Putin and his regime," he added.
