Putin is a nobody. And not only for Zelenskyy
No matter who is at the head of Muscovy with its current political system, no matter where the KGB old man is - in a bunker beyond the Urals or in a "nuclear paradise" - it will not affect the war’s outcome
Dmitry Medvedev's hangover hysteria in defense of his boss makes no sense. The deputy head of the Russian Security Council brutally attacked Zelenskyy after the latter said in an interview with Sky News that "I really don't understand who makes decisions in Russia." In other words, he made it clear that Putin is a nobody for him.
Medvedev did not mince his words and lashed out at Zelenskyy and Ukraine, once again repeating the Kremlin's usual narrative about failed states, "country 404," and so on. Medvedev tries to show himself as an "advanced" intellectual, but in reality, his concepts of IT and other state-of-the-art technologies go no further than the ability of boomers to handle computers.
“Medvedev is actually debating with artificial intelligence. Recently, some journalists, wanting an unbiased answer, asked ChatGPT, an AI chatbot, when the war in Ukraine would end and whether Putin's death would affect its duration”
Medvedev is actually debating with artificial intelligence. Recently, some journalists, wanting an unbiased answer, asked ChatGPT, an AI chatbot, when the war in Ukraine would end and whether Putin's death would affect its duration."The duration of a conflict is determined by various factors, and the actions and decisions of an individual, even one as 'powerful' as the Russian president, are only one of many factors that can affect the course of a war. It is important to note that the war in Ukraine is a complex problem with deep historical, political, and economic roots, and its solution will likely require a multifaceted approach," was the answer of the "deus ex machina."
Now the dilemma for the average person. Who to believe: storytellers from Bankova Street or ChatGPT? Hopefully, their heads won’t start hurting from this combination of foreign letters...
In other words, no matter who is at the head of Muscovy with its current political system, no matter where the KGB old man is - in a bunker beyond the Urals or in a "nuclear paradise" - it will not affect the war’s outcome. Artificial intelligence rationally (pardon the tautology in a way) determines that the conflict is caused by "historical, political and economic roots."
Putin, alive and well, is unable to put an end to this massacre he initiated. "They start wars when they wish, and end them when they can," wrote Niccolo Machiavelli. Putin "cannot" because such a voluntaristic decision would mean his not only political but also physical death in the Russia he has built. And this Putin's Russia will be inherited by those who will succeed the (“evil”?) "leader.” It doesn't matter how - by a palace coup, a "decision of the oligarchs' political bureau" or a verdict of criminal authorities led by Prigozhin.

Ironically, despite Medvedev's sarcasm against Ukraine, Putin's Russia has itself become a "country 404". And if artificial intelligence were asked about the reasons for this sad story, it would probably also point to "historical, political, and economic" factors. Imperial arrogance as a revelation of medieval ignorance and degradation of the "people," the "sugar kremlin" as sustenance for the poor (both economically and morally), and the bureaucratic and criminal oprichnina led Russia to a failed state for years. It only seems that the dictatorship in the "swamps" is omnipotent and unshakable. In reality, it is being corroded by internal turmoil, squabbles between local princes, corruption of the state apparatus, its stupidity and subservience. Any fresh breeze in a musty bunker covering 1/6 of the land area is extinguished by a simple method - a tightly closed window, mostly a peephole in a detention center or post-gulag colonies.
“Zelenskyy is right when he says that there is no one to talk to in Russia. Not only about ending the war, but in general. Dialogue between "civilizations" is a priori impossible due to the lack of a civilized interlocutor”
Zelenskyy is right when he says that Russia has no one to talk to. Not only about ending the war, but in general. A dialogue of "civilizations" is a priori impossible due to the lack of a civilized interlocutor. If this continues, the problem will become chronic. Prigozhin, for example, warms to the idea of his "wards" - the Wagner convicts - ascending to power. Then, in order to talk to them, the civilized world should at least sit down to study prison slang.
But does the world, and especially Ukraine, want such a dialog? Of course not. Recently, the international community has realized a simple truth: HIMARS, Leopard 2, Abrams, and other high-tech hardware are suitable for talking to Russia. And the conversation with those who remain in the field scorched by these weapons will be completely different.
