Ombudsman's Office receives dozens of videos of Ukrainian soldiers executions by Russians
Ukrainian Parliament Human Rights Commissioner Dmytro Lubinets said that his office had received dozens of videos of alleged executions of Ukrainian soldiers by the Russian occupiers.
In total, Russia could have committed tens of thousands of such crimes, Dmytro Lubinets said on Svoboda.Ranok TV program.
"This is just one of the examples we showed, which was published by the Russian side. In fact, there are many more, thousands of them, perhaps even tens of thousands. In fact, I, as the Ombudsman of Ukraine, have received dozens of similar videos. We do not publish them, of course. But all this is accumulating. We opened criminal proceedings. The Prosecutor General's Office is doing this," he said.
On the evening of April 11, a video was posted showing the Russian occupiers executing a man, calling him a Ukrainian soldier.
The Ombudsman claimed that Ukrainian intelligence had previously identified the executioner who cut off the head of the captured Ukrainian Armed Forces soldier. It is also known where the brutal execution took place.
