The number of earthquake victims in Turkey and Syria as of the evening of February 9 has exceeded 20,000 people
The Turkish Emergency Management Authority reported the information.
According to the latest data from the department, the number of earthquake victims in both countries is currently 20,451.
Another 70,347 people were confirmed injured, and 30,360 victims of the disaster were evacuated.
The search is currently underway. In total, 120,000 rescuers and more than 12,000 pieces of equipment, as well as 160 aircraft and 20 ships, are involved in the operation.
