Not only Orbán and Szijjártó, but also Hungarians support Kremlin's narratives - diplomat Ohryzko
Diplomat Volodymyr Ohryzko believes that the majority of Hungarians support the pro-Russian and anti-European policies of their government
He expressed his opinion on Espreso TV.
"Recently, when my colleagues and I talk about Hungary, we often ask whether Hungarians themselves want to change the government. In fact, the problem is that all the statements and actions of Orbán and Szijjártó are not only their own. It is also the position of the Hungarians who support them. Apparently, Hungarians are presented with such odious, pro-Russian and anti-European politicians," explained Ohryzko.
The diplomat emphasized that Hungarians may change their position on Orbán if the economic situation worsens.
"However, there is still a chance to change the Hungarian position. So far, the balance is 50-50 with some superiority of the current government. In my opinion, if the socio-economic situation in Hungary deteriorates, Hungarians will make the right choice in favor of adequate politicians," he added.
