No Onyx missile attacks may indicate successful targeting of Russian bases in Crimea
Operational Command South's press center head Natalia Humeniuk says that Russia is still capable of producing Kh-101 and Kh-555 air-launched missiles
She said this on Espreso TV.
"The threat to Ukraine remains from the sea, from land and from the air. The enemy has a fleet, air force, and coastal missile systems. In particular, the absence of attacks with Onyx missiles may indicate the successful destruction of Russian bases in Crimea’s Dzhankoi, but we have not yet received absolute confirmation," said Humeniuk.
The 1st Rank Captain added that the Russian forces are capable of using air-launched missiles.
"Due to a certain pause, which was necessary for the production of missiles, the occupying Russian forces used Kh-101 and Kh-555 missiles. In addition, the invading army has a stockpile of Kh-22s, which are being modernized to the level of Kh-32. The Russian troops have a lot of Iskander missiles of the K category, which are identical to the Kalibrs and M category, which are ballistic missiles," emphasized Humeniuk.
