Putin's visit to Vietnam: President To Lam expresses desire to strengthen ties with Russia

Kremlin's press service reported the information.
"The state visit of the Russian President to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam will be held at the invitation of the General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam Nguyen Phu Trong," the statement said.
A video was published showing Putin getting off the plane and being greeted by people.
According to Sky news, after the Russian leader arrived in Vietnam, To Lam said that his country wants to strengthen ties with Russia.
He said that strengthening the partnership was "one of our priorities." He also congratulated Putin on Russia's "achievements" and his re-election.
