New mobile air defense groups created in northern Ukraine to protect sky on water — Commander Nayev
The Commander of the Ukrainian Joint Forces, Lieutenant General Serhiy Nayev, says that in the Northern Operational Zone, new mobile air defense fire groups are defending the sky not only on land but also on water
He made the statement on Facebook.
According to Nayev, sailors from a separate river division have been honing their skills for a year. As a result of these actions, new mobile fire groups have been formed to defend the Ukrainian sky in the Northern Operational Zone not only on land but also on water.
"I personally observed them several times and was involved in improving their efficiency," the commander emphasized.
Nayev also awarded sailors for their work in shooting down enemy targets.
On the night of December 19, Russian occupying forces attacked the Khmelnytskyi region with Shahed-type attack UAVs. The air defense forces were operating.
