More than 100 Russian mines were found in schools: explosives were discovered in liberated Mykolayiv region’s areas
Ukrainian Security Service discovered more than 100 mines in liberated areas of Mykolaiv region which Russian troops had hidden in schools, caches with explosives were also found in hospitals
The Security Service of Ukraine reports.
During stabilization measures in liberated areas of Mykolaiv region, Ukrainian Security Service established location of powerful caches of Russian ammunition. Hundreds of anti-tank weapons, artillery shells and combat grenades were among confiscated items.
Russian caches with explosives were set up on the territory of social facilities, including hospitals and schools in captured settlements of the region.
As a result of large-scale operational work, in recently liberated town of Snihurivka, Bashtan district, in just two days, Ukrainian Security Service employees discovered:

more than 200 tank shells,

more than 100 mines,
-
8 artillery shells and ammunition for automatic guns,
-
15 shots to anti-tank missile systems,
-
13 F-1 combat grenades,
-
4 units of automatic weapons, including machine guns,
-
more than 15 thousand rounds of various calibers.
Ukrainian Security Service believes that Russians set up military shelters to create a reserve for occupying groups of Russian Federation and carry out sabotage in the southern direction.
So far, removed means of destruction have been handed over to the needs of Ukrainian Armed Forces. Comprehensive measures are underway to expose and bring to justice those involved in the covert arrangement of enemy arsenals.
Operational actions are carried out by employees of Ukrainian Security Service of Mykolaiv region together with units of Ukrainian Armed Forces.
