Kyiv explains Ukraine's plan to achieve peace and reason for meeting in Saudi Arabia
Andriy Yermak, the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, mentioned that they are getting ready for a second meeting with national security advisers and political advisers of other country leaders in Saudi Arabia. Ukraine has a three-step strategy to make the Peace Formula work
He wrote about this on Telegram.
Yermak announced that the meeting in Saudi Arabia will focus on the main principles of peace based on President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's Peace Formula.
After the Copenhagen meeting in June, the Office of the President is expanding the group of participants in Ukraine’s initiative in Saudi Arabia. Countries from the West, Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and Latin America will be among them.
The strategy for implementing Zelenskyy's Peace Formula has three levels:
- Detailed discussions with ambassadors accredited to Ukraine about each point of the Peace Formula.
- Ukrainian initiative with meetings of national security advisers and political advisers to find the best ways to implement the peace plan.
- Organizing the Global Peace Summit with leaders of states for implementing the Formula.
Yermak also mentioned that the Peace Formula has ten points, discussed individually and in groups with partners during these meetings.
The goal of Ukraine at the Saudi Arabia meeting is to develop a unified vision of the Formula and explore possibilities for the future Global Peace Summit.
"We aim to restore world order, international law, and establish a fair peace based on the UN Charter and Ukraine's terms. We are continuing our efforts," he emphasized.
