Russian leader Vladimir Putin has agreed with the Uzbek authorities to create a number of front companies funded by the Russian government to purchase electronics for UAVs

On December 26, 2023, during a meeting of CIS leaders, Putin discussed the terms of cooperation with the top military and political leadership of Uzbekistan, the report said.
According to the National Resistance Center, the countries have reached preliminary agreements on the creation of a number of front companies in Uzbekistan, which will be funded by the Russian government.
"Officially announced cooperation in the transport industry. But according to the Center, the opposition is, in fact, the creation of fictitious companies to circumvent international sanctions by Russia. And also enterprises for the assembly of UAVs, which will consist of foreign electronic components," the statement said.
These companies will then export products and components to Russian defense companies, including the Kazan Electropribor Plant, Elekon, Stella-K, and others.
Russia also plans to buy Soviet ammunition stocks from Uzbekistan.
Accordingly, Russian troops plan to continue deploying fictitious enterprises in Central Asia to circumvent international sanctions, National Resistance Center summarized.
