Over the past day, the invading Russian army lost 1,220 soldiers in the war in Ukraine. Ukraine's Defense Forces hit a Russian aircraft and shot down 50 drones

Russia’s total combat losses from 24.02.22 to 15.08.24 are estimated at:

MLRS - 1,154 (+3),
air defense systems - 922 (+1),
aircraft - 367 (+1),

cruise missiles - 2,428 (+2),
ships/boats - 28 (+0),
submarines - 1 (+0),
vehicles and fuel tanks - 22,775 (+65),
special equipment - 2,813 (+0).

On the night of August 14, Ukrainian defenders destroyed a Russian Su-34 fighter jet in the Kursk region during a combat mission.
