Kazakhstan refuses to accept former Luhansk governor as ambassador – media
The Kazakh side has made it clear to Kyiv that it doesn't accept the candidacy of the former head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, Serhiy Haidai
This is reported by ZN.UA.
Kazakhstan refused to issue an agrément (the agreement by a state to receive members of a diplomatic mission from a foreign country - ed.) to the former head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, Serhiy Haidai. The Kazakh side made it clear that this candidate does not suit it, and it would like to see a professional diplomat in the post.
According to the media’s sources, Kazakhstan's response to the request for Haidai was “soft but tough.”
It is important to recall that the previous Ukrainian ambassador to Kazakhstan, Petro Vrublevskyi, was a professional diplomat, but he was recalled because of the Kremlin's hysteria over his harsh “anti-Russian statements.”
