Former head of Luhansk Regional Military Administration Haidai confirms he may be appointed ambassador to Kazakhstan
Serhiy Haidai, who was dismissed by the President on March 15 as head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, confirmed that he may be appointed Ukraine's ambassador to Kazakhstan

He said this in an interview with Radio NV.
"Today there is indeed talk of appointing me ambassador to Kazakhstan... The country is very interesting, very powerful, and if I can personally establish closer and friendlier relations, I will be happy to have such a task," Haidai said.
He admitted that he knew about his dismissal several months before it was announced.
"I knew about this decision. There is no need to look for any undercurrents. I had a conversation with (President - ed.) Volodymyr Zelenskyy earlier. So let's consider it a normal rotation," said Haidai.
He assured that he was leaving behind a professional team, established cooperation with military units and a network of humanitarian hubs throughout Ukraine.
