Kalush Orchestra to perform at the annual MTV Europe Music Awards 2022

The music event will take place on November 13 in Dusseldorf, Germany. For the MTV Europe Music Awards 2022, the musicians are preparing a special performance directed and staged by the popular Ukrainian choreographer Kostiantyn Tomilchenko.

The Kalush Orchestra rap group was founded in 2019. With two albums to their credit, Ukrainian musicians gained worldwide popularity after winning Eurovision 2022 with the song “Stephania”.

• On October 21, the Ukrainian band Kalush Orchestra presented a new track “In The Shadows Of Ukraine”, recorded together with the legendary Finnish rock band The Rasmus.

• Lviv clothing designer Roksoliana Shymchuk and fighter Volodymyr Sturm participated in the creation of a music video for the new joint song of the bands Kalush and The Rasmus. 

• At the beginning of October, the musicians announced a tour to the US and Canada, where they will collect funds to support Ukraine.

• Earlier, the Kalush Orchestra announced a large-scale fundraising for the rehabilitation of the defenders of Azovstal. In a day they managed to raise UAH 5 million. 

• The Kalush Orchestra also announced a large-scale competition of the top vocalists of Ukraine.
