It’s necessary to leave Luhansk region: many settlements in occupation, Russians behave impudently, kidnap people, -  politician about situation in the East of Ukraine

"People are often in a stupor when active hostilities begin. And it’s difficult to get them out, but it is necessary to leave Luhansk region. We’ve been talking about that for a long time from Severodonetsk, Rubizhne, asked, forced everyone to leave. Unfortunately, we already have losses: one student died on the way out of Rubezhne, one student was seriously injured. One of our professors was shut by Russians in Irpin. And it is necessary to leave as soon as possible, "said Kurilo.

Scientist added that many people remained in Luhansk region, but there are different settlements: there were not many battles in Starobilsk; in district centers of Novopskov and Bilokurakine, where there were no battles at all and our troops were also absent - Ukrainian defenders could be surrounded and it made no sense to keep a large defense.

"Novopskov and Bilokurakine are now under occupation, people live in difficult conditions - they are running out of food, supplies are meager, and occupiers are behaving very brazenly. Activists and relatives of servicemen are being apprehended and taken away. Many guys I know personally have disappeared and no one knows where they are now, but in Severodonetsk, Rubizhne, Kreminna, and Gorskoye, there are still people there and they are in terrible conditions. Somewhere on the outskirts of cities, and getting to the evacuation buses at the other end of the village is very, very risky, "- he added.
