Invaders forcibly take women and children from Donbas to Russia - Denisova
Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights Lyudmyla Denisova said that invaders massively take women and children from the temporarily occupied territories in Donbas to Russia
Denisova announced this in Telegram.
According to her, women and children are forcibly removed from the territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions temporarily occupied by the invader to the territory of the Russian Federation.
"In the settlements, which include Rashist troops, so-called "humanitarian corridors" are organized for residents to be taken to the aggressor country. Women, children, the elderly are searched, Ukrainian documents, telephones are taken away and sent to the border regions of the Russian Federation. They are placed there in concentration camps with subsequent transfer to the depressive regions of Russia for settlement", Denisova wrote.
She added that people were left without means of communication with their families, often without food and basic necessities.
"So far, there is no data on the number of deported people. The Office of the Prosecutor General is conducting a pre-trial investigation into the illegal removal of 2,389 children from the occupied territories of Donbas to the Russian Federation. But the Russian press, which is prone to distorting reality in the direction of exaggerating the aggressive achievements, notes about 206 thousand refugees from Donbas", Denisova said.
She noted that attempts by Rashists to create similar "humanitarian corridors" to the occupying country were also recorded in Kharkiv, Chernihiv, Sumy and Kyiv regions.
