In Melitopol, which is temporarily occupied by Russian troops after Mayor Ivan Fedorov was abducted, a local lawmaker recorded a video message calling for a so-called "committee of people's deputies" to run the city and calling those protesting "extremists."

On local TV, she has already recorded a video address to the people, where she stated that she is creating a committee of people's deputies, which will lead Melitopol:

"Dear residents of Melitopol and Melitopol district. Now our main task is to adjust all the mechanisms to the new reality to start living in a new way as soon as possible. Despite all our efforts, there are still people in the city trying to destabilize the situation. I ask you not to succumb to these provocations. I appeal to the deputies. We were elected by the people and our task, first of all, is to take care of their well-being. on the territory of Melitopol and Melitopol district".

The local newspaper calls Danilchenko a Melitopol "Gauleiter" and reports that she has already planned to hold a "plan" with the so-called "leaders" on March 13.
