If Putin decides to attack Ukraine from Belarus, Lukashenko will learn about it from newspapers - Ohryzko
Volodymyr Ohryzko, Ukrainian diplomat, former Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine noted that Lukashenko has not been the one making political decisions in Belarus for a long time
Volodymyr Ohryzko shared his opinions with Espreso TV.
"We should not believe a single word that official Minsk says. Because it is not doing anything out of its accord. Lukashenko has not been making serious political decisions for a long time. If Putin decides to attack Ukraine from the territory of Belarus, Lukashenko will learn about it from reports, newspapers or magazines, or from the media in general. That is, no one will ask him, so his statements mean nothing," Ohryzko stressed.
According to the diplomat, Lukashenko will continue to delay the invasion of the Belarusian army in Ukraine.
"For us, this is just another reason to check whether everything is ready to repel Russian aggression from the territory of Belarus. And for Lukashenko, it is a reason to think about what will happen to him if the attack happens. I think that this is what is decisive in his current situation, and he will not rush to side with the aggressor in a direct invasion and will delay it as much as possible. But, if this happens, he will say that he has nothing to do with it when it comes to his co-responsibility before a specialized international tribunal," Ohryzko stressed.
