For reference
The Crimean Platform is an international forum established in 2021. Its aim is to advocate for the liberation of Crimea. The inaugural summit of the platform occurred in Kyiv in 2021, where the former Hungarian president, Janos Ader, was present. He acknowledged that Hungarians remember both the aggression of a powerful country and the trauma of Trianon, which is why they understand the sensitivity of the Ukrainian people towards the annexation of Crimea. In 2022, Hungary was represented on the Crimean Platform by Peter Staraj. He reaffirmed Hungary's unwavering support for Ukraine and emphasized their main objective of achieving peace.
