Donetsk direction is invading Russian forces' main focus for attack
Serhii Cherevatyi, the Eastern Group of Forces spokesman, says that the main battle for Ukraine is currently taking place in the east.

He said this on Espreso TV.
"Ukraine's Armed Forces are seriously confusing the enemy. In the East of the country, the Russian invaders have concentrated their greatest forces and the greatest force of their attack. The main point of attack of the enemy is the Donetsk direction, in particular, Bakhmut, Soledar, Avdiivka, Slovyansk, and Kramatorsk", Cherevatyi explained.
According to him, invading Russian forces try to launch assaults every day, using all types of barrel and rocket artillery.
"The Russian army still has a lot of Soviet-style ammunition, and also uses attack aircraft. Only the indomitable will of Ukrainian defenders and the ability of commanders to maneuver reserves do not allow the enemy to advance further", he noted.
