Demographic changes: 157,000 Russians relocated to Sevastopol since occupation
Russia is altering the demographic makeup of the population in the temporarily occupied territories by relocating its citizens. Specifically, it has brought in approximately 157,000 Russians to Sevastopol
The Center for National Resistance reported the information.
The Russian State Duma reported a population increase in Sevastopol during the occupation, from 393,000 to 560,000 people.
"It should be noted that the enemy is pursuing a policy of changing the demographic makeup in all temporarily occupied territories. Migrant workers from other regions of the Russian Federation are brought to the captured Ukrainian cities en masse, and Ukrainians are deported forcibly or under pressure," the statement said.
The Center adds that the number of "Russians" in the occupied regions is also being increased by the forced passportization of Ukrainians.
