According to the latest information, 15 people were rescued from the debris, with five, including a 14-year-old girl, being saved, and ten, including a two-year-old boy, losing their lives. The attack resulted in a total of 39 casualties, with 24 individuals sustaining injuries.

The building in Parkovy lane was the most affected, suffering extensive damage. At 12:00 on April 16th, the State Emergency Service had confirmed 12 fatalities, but later reported 15 deaths, with 24 people being injured.

The message reads that "As of 12:00 on April 16, as a result of the shelling of the city of Sloviansk, which took place on April 14, 34 people were injured, of which 12 were killed, and 22 were wounded. The body of the deceased man was recovered from the scene of emergency rescue operations."

Earlier, Veronika Bakhal, a spokeswoman for the State Emergency Service in the Donetsk region, reported the update to Suspilne media.

According to the official, the bodies of a man and a woman were recovered from the rubble of a high-rise building in Sloviansk. This brings the total number of dead to 11, with 22 more people injured. In particular, a 2-year-old child was killed.

According to the State Emergency Service, 4 people may still be under the rubble.

Pavlo Kyrylenko, the head of the Donetsk regional military administration, informed about this.

As of 10 pm on April 14, there were 8 dead and 21 wounded. In particular, a 2-year-old child was killed. Another 5 people are probably under the rubble of a destroyed block of flats.

"The Russian troops fired at least 7 rockets (according to preliminary information, S-300) at the city, 6 of them hit the residential sector, and another 1 hit the territory of a landscape park. The strike damaged 5 multi-storey buildings, 5 private houses, a school, a recreation center, an administrative building, a store, a shopping center and 12 cars. All information provided is preliminary. The exact consequences of the strike will be known later – I will report on the course of rescue operations additionally," Kyrylenko writes.

According to Veronika Bahal, a spokeswoman for the State Emergency Service in Donetsk region, as of 11:50 pm of April 14, rescuers have pulled the body of a dead woman, the ninth victim of the rocket attack, from under the rubble of an apartment building in Sloviansk.

The search for four more people is ongoing.

The video from Sloviansk was posted by Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

“The invaders brutally shelled the city. Residential buildings were hit. Unfortunately, wounded and dead are reported. The evil state once again demonstrates its essence. Just killing people in broad daylight. Ruining, destroying all life,’ the president said on Telegram.
