All control systems work at Chernobyl - Energoatom
At the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, all equipment is operating normally, but the damage from the presence of invaders at the station cannot yet be assessed
This was reported by Energoatom with reference to the director of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, Valeriy Seyda.
"All the technological equipment of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant is working. Also, all systems for monitoring and monitoring radiation indicators are working as usual", the statement says.
Now there is not a single Russian at the station. All invaders left the Chernobyl nuclear power plant before 20:00 on March 31, bringing with them the National Guardsmen taken hostages during the capture of the station. Also, the staff cannot yet calculate the losses from the stay of Russians at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant.
"We cannot yet estimate the total losses. The invaders took with them 5 out of 15 containers with equipment for repairs and spare parts necessary for the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. We cannot yet say what exactly was there", said Valeriy Seyda.
According to him, the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, in particular shelters and storage facilities for spent fuel, are operating normally.
