A group of the Ukrainian Armed Forces will go to Spain for training, including Hawk air defense systems operation, which Madrid will transfer to Ukraine
CNN reported the information citing the statement of Spain’s Ministry of Defense.
Spain will receive 225 Ukrainian servicemen on Thursday evening, January 12, at an air force base near Madrid, including 20 people who will undergo training for operating Hawk SAMs.
Most of the servicemen, who have no military experience, will undergo basic training. This will include training in combat casualty care and counter-improvised explosive device procedures.
